Lady Betty is a delightful heroine.I collect "girls" novels of the 1890-1920 period. Many of them are poorly written and/or formulaic.Lady Betty is an exception. The story is funny, well plotted, and if the ending is not precisely a surprise, it is satisfying. It's not just a collector's item.I'm happy to find the authors other works are still available and, it seems, experiencing a renaissance.Product Description
